The Godara Lab was established in 2025 at North Carolina State University to address critical weed management challenges in turfgrass and forage systems. Our mission is to develop science-based, sustainable weed management strategies that meet the evolving needs of the turfgrass industry while minimizing environmental impact. We integrate applied research, innovative technologies, and weed biology to solve practical weed management problems and translate discoveries into impactful extension, training, and educational programs for stakeholders. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, engagement with industry partners, and graduate training, the Godara Lab strives to provide regional and national leadership in turfgrass weed management.
